If you’re updating to a new version of iCore, please follow the Updating to the Latest Version instructions carefully. iCore needs the right permissions from your Mac to work properly. We’re working on making this process smoother, but for now, please just make sure not to skip any steps.

Download the latest version from Releases.
Open the file and drag and drop the iCore icon into the Applications folder.

DO NOT run the app yet. You need to give it the appropriate system permissions before you do. First, navigate to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access.

From here, give the iCore app (inside your Applications folder) Full Disk Access permission by clicking the “+” icon on the bottom left of the window and then selecting the iCore app from the dialog window.

Once you’ve granted Full Disk Access, the window should look like this.

Next, open the iCore application by double clicking it from the Applications folder on Finder. You’ll get a pop-up that looks something like this. Click “Done”.

Then, open up System Settings > Privacy & Security again and scroll down to the bottom of the window where you’ll see a notice that says iCore was blocked to protect your Mac. Click “Open Anyway”.
